Katie Slaton
Katie is one of Inside Out’s hardest working artists, working in various mediums for hours at a time without a break. She finds great joy in her work, which is highly playful and whimsical and often contains text that informs the observer of the imaginary worlds from which she draws her subject matter. Her art is defined by a freedom of expression, but also shows a strong intuitive understanding of color and composition. She is comfortable working in any medium, embracing new modes of production without hesitation. When Katie is not working at Inside Out, she is often creating art in her home studio.
