Maria Rivette
Maria is honored as Inside Out’s first artist! Maria has created art in school and other formal settings for many years, but she is now thriving on exploring her creative imagination in a less structured venue. Always eager to learn and experiment, Maria is employing her bold use of color and pattern in a variety of mediums, but she is finding a strong affinity with working in oil and dry pastel. Her work is often informed by her devout Catholic faith, and her style ranges from surrealism to abstract expressionism.
