Tyrone Powell
Tyrone is a quiet, gentle presence in the studio, and is highly focused on his work, able to concentrate in the midst of an often lively environment. He is exploring the use of paint on canvas, and is drawn to the primary colors, painting them in broad swaths with the addition of elements of texture and design. Like most of our participants, Tyrone is an emerging artist, and, consistent with our philosophy, we are letting him explore this new venture on his own terms, which sometimes means he will work on two or three canvases at once.
